What are we?

The Greater Manchester Primary Care Patient Safety Translational Research Centre is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). It is a unique and groundbreaking Centre, with a strong patient and public involvement and engagement agenda.

Covering four main research themes,

  1. Medication Safety
  2. Multimorbidity
  3. General Practice
  4. Interface and Informatics

it makes the University of Manchester a world leader in primary care patient safety research.

Where are we?

Located in the Institute of Population Health and the Manchester Pharmacy School, the main offices of the Greater Manchester PSTRC are in the Centre for Primary Care in the Williamson Building, number 52 on the campus map.
